HERE wanted to migrate their web infrastructure to a scalable, flexible and efficient CMS platform to power multiple websites, including their corporate website here.com.

We were invited as Drupal experts. We architected and delivered the Digital Experiences Platform based on Drupal CMS. We continue to expand its capabilities, giving HERE teams the tools they need to communicate effectively.

A platform

The platform serves as a starting point for launching websites. New websites can be spun with a drastically reduced time to market. Out of the box, a website receives a great look and feel and is ready for content entry from day one. Visuals can be customised as required so that each website can offer a unique experience.

A content hub

The Drupal platform serves as a content hub. Content delivered via APIs is consumed by other HERE websites, for example, the portal for developers - developers.here.com

Superb architecture

Thanks to a component-based structure, HERE editorial teams can assemble compelling pages in any way they want. Utilising pre-defined boilerplate starters they can do it very efficiently.

Because all components are built following an atomic design approach, HERE has fine-grained control over each visual element, but on the other hand, it can change the appearance of multiple components across the website no matter how big it is.

For HERE quality is extremely important. To ensure that each deployment always delivers superior quality without any regressions, we introduced extensive automated testing of functionality and of the visuals. Visual components and their variations are validated each time to ensure they work correctly. Pre and post-deployment automated testing ensures the highest quality.
